We recently completed the plumbing and gasfitting at the Headland Park Golf Club commercial kitchen. Their existing kitchen was extended and old kitchen completely gutted, requiring a fitout from scratch.
We installed a new 1500 litre grease trap which was located partially underground outside the building. New drainage was installed beneath the floor, new trade waste raupiano drain pipes were used throughout the entire new kitchen area. Centralised positioning of the appliances meant that there was no wall for pipework to run through, so a stainless service duct was created allowing the pipes to come up from underground and be accessible to the cook line from either side. In this service duct we ran new copper gas lines via a emergency slam-shut valve to the gas ovens, gas deep fryers and gas griddle. For the plumbing side of the project, we ran new hot and cold water to all hand basins, sinks, dish washer etc.
